I was lucky enough to be able to go out to Iowa and spend quite a few days with the Price family. The purpose for my trip was to attend the Temple sealing of their family, but I went early so Brione and I could have some much missed sister time as well. My whole experience was wonderful. I had such a great time. I have missed that family so much, even though I only spend a few days, it was an amazing experience. I feel so blessed to be able to be apart of their family and I feel honored for the ability to attend their sealing.

While I was in Iowa, Brione and I started to feel crafty. We went out and bought a bunch of fabric, and started making a braided rag quilt. We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into, but I am sure they will be beautiful when they are complete.

My dad came out to Iowa a little early. It was so great to see him! We played with the kids, rested, even celebrated my Birthday!

My Dad, Brione, Ariana, Aiden and I drove to Nauvoo together for the Price family sealing. Dave and his family drove down together the next day.

We took a trip to Carthage Illinois. We were able to take a tour of the house that Joseph Smith and Hyrum Smith was murdered in. The original bullet holes from the mob shooting at the place are still there. It was a very sad, yet spiritual place to see.

We took some tours around some places in Nauvoo. We saw a bakery, the performance hall, a ball room, a quilt room, plus we saw many people's homes from Joseph Smith's time.

While in Nauvoo, we went to the area that the Pioneers crossed the Mississippi River. There was a memorial of the Pioneers. The kids had a lot of fun playing and getting to know each other better.

The sealing was held at the Nauvoo Illinois Temple. It was such a wonderful experience. Nauvoo is a beautiful place to visit and to be able to attend a sealing of my favorite family in the whole world. I could not be happier for the Price family.

Some of us decided to go on a cairrage ride. There were so many people that our group got split up and I ended up sitting on the very back. Perfect for pictures though!

I was taking this picture when I dropped my camera case (which had my cell phone and gum in it). It fell right into the stream. A really nice guy jumped off the carriage and grabbed it for me.

The horses that pulled our carriage was beautiful, the children enjoyed them too!

We decided to go visit a really old cemetery. There were head stones from the 1800s. We even found a head stone with a claw marks on it from an animal. Here, we are finding out way to the cemetery.

A really touching statue at the cemetery.

Daddy dearest!

Aiden was finding some very interesting head stones.

My little Ariana is so beautiful.
