Visitors: Brione

I was very lucky for my dear sister Brione to come out a couple of weeks after Taylor was born.  Brione and I are best friends and we do not get to see each other in person very often, so when we do we have a good time!  Taylor's first trip was to pick Brione up from the airport in Kansas City Missouri.  I was so stressed out about taking her on a 3 hour drive.  There was a time that Taylor cried quite a bit during the drive, and we pulled over and did not know what to do!  Ha ha, new parents.... Anyway, we picked up Brione and drove back to Webb City.  Brione loved spending time with her little niece.

While Brione was staying with us, we decided to take more pictures of Taylor all cutsie like.  This photo shoot went a little smoother then when we took Taylor's pictures with Nancy.  This time, Taylor was asleep most of the time.  Yay for sleeping babies!

We had a great time taking pictures!  I love that Sidney was willing to pose with Taylor as well!

While Brione was staying with us, we had a lot of time to just talk and giggle and snuggle the baby.  I went back to work after 2 weeks, so I was working when Brione came.  Brione also does medical transcriptioning so we sat on different couches and worked at the same time.  Jeff had to work late that week so when Taylor would get fussy, Brione and I would take turns holding her and calming her down.  We had a great time!

Brione stayed for a week.  When it was time for her to go, Jeff, Taylor and I took her back to Kansas City to the airport.  Before we dropped her off, we went to the Liberty Jail.

Jeff and I had visited the jail before, but this was Brione's first time.  We also went to eat at Red Robin (Taylor's first time going out to eat) and we went by the newly built Kansas City Temple!

After the Temple, we took Brione to the airport.  It was sad to see her go.  After Brione left, Devin and Dana came to see us.  Unfortunately, we did not get any pictures for some reason.  They celebrated their anniversary here and saw some of the interesting things to see in this area.  It was so nice to see everyone that came to visit!

Visitors: Grandma, Nancy and Sydney

Our next family visitors was Taylor's Grandma Webb, Aunt Nancy and cousin Sydney.  They flew into Texas and drove the rest of the day to Missouri.  We had such a good time while they were here!  They took our first family photo
This is our first official family photo!

I decided I wanted to surprise Jeff with a cute framed picture of Taylor for Father's Day.  Nancy brought her nice camera and we had a little photo shoot!

They turned out so adorable!  They were not the easiest to take but I am sure glad we did it!  Plus it was a lot of fun and I had some great time with Nancy!

This was also the most amount of time we have ever spent with little Sydney.  She is so adorable and a joy to be around!

Welcome to our house.  Sidney begs for food always!

I love this picture!
Grandma and Nancy were able to spend some wonderful quality time with little Taylor!  They took turns holding her and Sydney.

We had a wonderful time with the family being here, eating Hacket Hotwings, hanging out, and watching movies.  They cooked and cleaned for us every day, helped us bathe Taylor and helped out with her so much while they were here.  It was a joy to have the Webb family stay for a few days!

Visitors: Nana

Our little family was very lucky to get so many visitors and company when Taylor was born, especially with us living so far away.  The first family member that came to see was my mom.  She was able to get here the night after Taylor was born.  She came back to our house and decorated it with "It's A Girl!!!" decoration so that we would be surprised when we got home.  I was so excited to have my mom with us for a few days!

My mom held Taylor every chance she got.  She was so great to help us with some of the first time things that we were nervous about.  She helped us give Taylor her first bath at home.

I was super nervous to bath Taylor.  I did not want to get her umbilical cord wet, or get the water too hot or anything, so Jeff and my mom took over her first at home bath and I was happy to hold the camera!

While my mom was here, we spend a lot of quality time together.  We had lots of great talks, she cooked for us, cleaned for us, held Taylor and watched over her so I could nap.  I am so grateful I was able to have my dear mother come for such a special time in our lives!
